Answer: By hosting The Energized Guyz or Energy Agents, schools will also receive a shipment of Energy Efficiency Kits through the Student Energy Savers program. Since the goal of the performance is to teach the importance of energy conservation, the kits are provided as a tangible tool for your school community to take action. Sent directly to your school for distribution to participating classroom teachers and their students, each kit contains items to save energy and apply what was learned from the show at home.

Answer: One family winner will be drawn to win $1,500. To enter this drawing, a family must complete the online survey as directed in the instructions included in their kit by December 31, 2020.

Answer: The Energy Efficiency Kits contain items designed to help you and your household reduce energy use, as well as tips to help you further reduce consumption. Items included:

- Two 3-Way LED Bulbs
- Three LED Night Lights
- One Advanced Power Strip
- One Furnace Filter Whistle

 

Answer: These Energy Efficiency Kits are provided as part of the Student Energy Savers in-school program, available for schools in FirstEnergy’s Ohio utilities service territory that host The Energized Guyz or Energy Agents. All staff, students and teachers will receive an Energy Efficiency Kit at school to take home.

Answer: Yes. The Energy Efficiency Kits are provided at no fee.

Costs of these programs may be recovered through customer rates in accordance with Ohio law.
